StartUp RockOn was created by three fast-growing startups, Event Farm, HyperVocal & Fighter Interactive. As we are still in the early stages of our own companies, we want to make sure to help those who are immediately behind us. The startup culture demands it. As such, we are pleased to announce the winners of our inaugural StartUp Grant Challenge.
After tons of submissions, our judging panel chose the following winners:
In Florida, our judging panel chose: Citizinvestor, an online crowdfunding platform to help citizens fund public projects that aren’t being funded by local governments.
In North Carolina, our judging panel chose: WeRx, an online tool designed to add transparency into prescription drug pricing for consumers across the country.
For this Grant Challenge, each startup will be awarded a grant of almost $5000 to help jump start their ideas. In addition to simply the cash infusion, each winner will become part of the StartUp RockOn community, with the ability to reach out to other startup founders with their questions and concerns along the way. The StartUp RockOn founding team of Event Farm, HyperVocal and Fighter Interactive welcome the inaugural grant winners into the family!
